    After a beautiful day of exploring Vashon Island stopped in for a quick lunch with my daughter and two young grandchildren. From the time we walked in the guy was extremely rude. I was asking questions about the menu due to food allergies and he pretended as if he didn't understand a word I was saying. My grandson went over and sat down at one of the tables and began playing with his cars and the guy just flat out looked at him like he was breaking furniture. My daughter said oh he's just playing with his toys . Just weird.... He took our order and he was throwing the bread around... Throwing the meat around ... He was very rude to us and I can't for the life of me understand why someone would be rude to customers with no justification. Was it because we were not part of the dominant culture? My grandchildren don't drink sodas or fruit juices. We asked for two cups of water. He watched my daughter and two grandchildren like a hawk... as if they were going to steal fountain drinks out of a clear cup that he provided. Then when I said hey, let's go over to the grocery store. He started me down with the look of disgust. I would never never never go back to to this subways ever again. I have been to the island maybe a total of five times and this is a place I will not go back to. I am hugely embarrassed for business owners and people who treat other people with different due to the color of their skin. At the end of the day, our money is the same as the dominant culture's money. You get the cash it in when you close your business for the evening... If it wasn't for my grandchildren needing to eat then I would have left. For people of color, I highly recommend reading post before supporting businesses like this one!

    I came here for lunch and ordered the 6 inch chicken grilled chicken & avocado sandwich. It states next to this sandwich on the "fresh fit" menu "50% more meat!" As you can see from my picture (I did take a bite before I decided to share this ridiculous sandwich), there is not "50% more meat". It is not even one scoop of meat. When the guy got the avocado spread to put on the bread he looked at it, as did I, saw that it was brown and proceeded to squeeze it onto the sandwich. Yay rotten avocado spread... I paid $11 for this pitiful unappetizing 6 inch sandwich with no drink and no side. Just the sandwich. As I was still there, another customer told the guy that the soda machine is out. The guy behind the counter just stared at him. Didn't offer a bottled soda nor a solution. The customer stated it again and put his cup up to the machine and even showed the guy and the guy walked to the room next to the register and didnt come back out until the customer left. What in the world? I will not recommend this subway and I will not be going back again. Very disappointing, time and money wasting.

    I have been going to this location when I have had a busy day and just need a quick dinner. Typically a long wait, but always a pleasant experience. I usually ordered the 3 footlongs for $27.99. I went into this location on Saturday, February 28th after 4pm, the sign for the special was still up in this location and was told by the worker this is no longer valid. Please update your specials in accordance to the offerings or if you do not, please honor the special to your guests.

    I arrived at 9:35 am on a Thursday and the doorsign clearly said they were open at 9:30 am. 5 minutes later, a guy arrived, unlocked the door and told me the shop was not open yet as he still had to cut the vegetables. Therefore, he said, we want you to come back in about 20 minutes. I used to work in a lot of stores myself when I was younger, and when my boss said doors open at 9:30 am, it meant you are ready to accept orders at 9:30. Dissapointing, because I don't have the time to wait.

    Employee was prepping for pick up order 4 sandwiches which were already made. So he proceeds to get the chips for the meals instead of grabbing all four at once he walks back and forth and grabs each one individually and has to reread the order every time. Tells me to hold on again. I left the store will never go back it was. 15 min wait at this point .
