Our room was very large, clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient. The decor was retro to fit the period of the building. Very close to the Mariners Ballpark, and Seattle's port tourist distric and close to the Cruise ship terminal.

Elderly parents stayed here and had a great time. Loved the historic building. The BW brand signage is not noticeable from the street so look for pioneer square hotel, and mom didn’t see raisin bran nor eggs—may need to ask hotel staff about these options.

Very nice hotel just blocks from the stadiums and close to the Pike Street Market and Seattle Art Museum. Have stayed here many times over the years. The folks working there are wonderful. The breakfast is excellent. Our room was perfect. Highly recommend.

The location is really good! Close to the light rail and the arenas. But also to the city center and the harbour. Kind and helpful staff. The room itself is not very large but it's totally ok for us two for 3 nights. I would say that the furnitures are a little big for the room. The armchair and dresser could be smaller due to the take up alot of space. But the room was clean and comfy bed. There is a small fridge. The breakfast is American with alot of sugar.... But the dining area was clean. I would come back!!

The hotel is right in downtown Seattle, making it a good deal if you’re exploring the city -- especially if you stay for more than one night and want somewhere convenient to return to and rest in the evening. The area is extremely walkable during the day, with easy access to the nearby light rail station, Pike Place Market, the waterfront, the Seattle Art Museum, and other downtown attractions. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend wandering around the area at midnight, though. Also, don’t expect an outstanding city view simply because of the downtown location.
FYI, if you arrive late at night, the entrance may be locked and a staff member will buzz you in through the intercom. They also allow food deliveries such as DoorDash to be brought directly to your room.
The complimentary breakfast consisted mostly of prepackaged items, and I’ve had fresher breakfasts at other Best Western hotels. The TV in my room was genuinely ancient and could certainly use an upgrade. They also do not offer a courtesy shuttle to or from Sea-Tac Airport (as of July 2026), so I recommend taking the light rail for an inexpensive commute if it works for you.
Overall, the hotel served my purpose well, and I was happy with my stay.
