There are two employees in the store: one male and one female. The male employee took my order. Since I am vegetarian, I asked him to wash the knife, as I don’t want to touch the knife used for cutting meat. He seemed annoyed by my request. After that, he cut the bread. I asked him to add vegetables and requested a little lettuce. When he added that, I asked for more. He responded, “You asked for a little; I put a little. You should have said ‘normal’ if you wanted more.” When I pointed out that he was being rude and angry, he replied, “I’m rude if asking for what I want is rude. I’m not sure how I can order.”
I then asked to speak with someone else and requested the manager's information. He provided me with the store number but put the sandwich aside without informing me and walked back to the kitchen. I still wanted my food since it was my lunchtime. I called over another employee, who was female, and asked her to finish my sandwich. She made a new sandwich, but when I asked for her name, she said, “I can’t tell you my name.” I then asked the male employee to tell me his name, and he refused and ignored me. None of them were wearing name tags.
I bought the food, but I swear I am never going to Subway again if customer service is this bad. I asked what time the manager comes in, and they said they didn’t know. How is it possible that employees don’t know the manager’s working hours?
