  Got an auto policy set up from Andrew Hobden. I paid the entire year up front. Thought all was well. Then I get a letter from National General Insurance saying the actual price would be $800 higher than I agreed to. I signed a cancellation on June 8th 2026 because that is unacceptable. Thinking I would be getting a refund in the mail... No... I messaged today Aug 7th 2026 asking where my refund is. Andrew says that National will not cancel the policy without sending them a copy of my new insurance declarations page.. That seems predatory, and invasive to my privacy, but I do it anyway. Then later in the day when I tell Andrew that I am dissatisfied, he tells me that is fine but that still wont cancel the policy and that I have to sign another cancellation request... I will say, at this point, go anywhere else for insurance. You certainly dont want to play these games if you ever needed your insurance to be serious. I will be forwarding all the email games to the attorney general so that they can review the scam like predatory nature of this company.

  After all the problems I had just getting signed up, I was hoping that the headache was over. Unfortunately not. Instead of getting a phone call or a formal letter that there was a problem with my home policy during underwriting, they wait months and just send me a refund check and a dates showing me when my policy will be cancelled. Will not be recommending this office.
