This was the Wild Western; Not the Best Western. The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was broken over the 4 days we were there. They refused to increase the temperature of the swimming pool. The one night I went in the pool there were about a dozen people without key cards, swimming, splashing and screaming and driving their children to a frenzy. Each night I came to see if I could have an evening cookie and they were all gone: on one of the nights I found out why. There was a mass gathering of people in the Pepper Room and a screaming woman of foreign extraction came out at 7:01 and took all of the cookies herself to take into the room. The facility appeared short-staffed and those who were working did a good job but looked somewhat frightened and overwhelmed. The key cards required repeated reprogramming and supplies in the bedroom were short. I generally expect a more standard experience, but I have had another odd experience at a different Best Western in Spokane, so maybe they just run their business differently there. I am grateful for a safe place to stay and we were glad we could access a charger across the way at a car dealership. Of the many many chargers most of them had gas cars parked in the slots but there was one left where we could charge up. I'm not sure if I would choose to stay there again. I guess it will depend on our travel requirements. It's very nice to be able to go to the Harvard Street access to the centennial trail. Also, Our Lady of Victory and Buck Knives are nearby. The White House restaurant has good Mediterranean food and it's about 10 minutes away.
Stayed for three nights, rooms are nice and breakfast had good options. Walls between rooms are thin, hot tub was broken for the duration of our stay.
Housekeeping is “by request”, and after “requesting” housekeeping multiple times per day, they never came and I got nothing but wishy-washy apologies from front desk. Confused as to what we paid $400+ for. Having a clean room in a 3-star hotel is a pretty low bar IMO and we won’t be staying here again.
The room had a few problems. The worst was that the shower lever was almost impossible to use. I was able to horse it on and off, but my wife could not and she did not get to shower. Hand soap was not put out and a couple of the shower liquid soaps/shampoos were empty.

I prefer BW because of they're reliability. This location shines. Quiet, clean, big fluffy towels and very considerate staff. I'll choose this one again. Also, exit doors on all sides making it easier to load and unload. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars across the board is my room really needs new carpet.

Me and my daughter were greeted by Nathan at the front desk and I couldn't be more pleased with his service. He was kind, respectful and helpful. Every hotel should have a Nathan. The room has some wear to it but nothing to complain about and is super spacious. Beds are comfy and the fridge actually makes your drinks cold. The A/C blasts and cools down the room fast. The pool and hot tub are great. They have a room with a pool table and a message chair that is pay for play but a rare touch. Really enjoying the stay. I will be reserving a room here again for sure.
