Two different experiences. Went on the 28th at 4 and q sign on the window said be back at 4:45. Wasn't going to wait. Came back at 5:30 to exchange a brand new phone I bought 5 days earlier. The girl said I'll give you the warranty department number. I said I just bought this Saturday and it doesn't work properly and need it exchanged. She said to call warranty. I said it's within the 6 day return. Finally she said we don't have any more of those phones. All while doing stuff behind the counter with some boxes. I was the only other person in the store. You'd think she would have stood up to at least talk to me like another human, and not at like I was a bother. I ended up calling warranty and after 45 minutes on hold, I opted for the live chat. Thinking it would be quicker. 45 minutes later, I received a text asking what they can help me with. By the time I text back in under 2 minutes, my text went through first, the response was, are you still connected, followed by, since there's no response, I'll pause the chat and you can reach out when you're ready. Something to that nature. I was floored and responded, give me time to respond. By the time someone responded, I was sleeping due to work early the next morning. That afternoon I called back and waited another 30 minutes when someone answered and said I can help you tomorrow with a refurbished phone. I said I paid full for a brand new one Saturday. He said that's the best they could do and suggested I go back to get my money back and try to purchase a new one from another store. I went back to the store, a different employee was there. I was happy about that. I explained my situation and she went on the back, brought out another brand new phone and exchanged it right then. What a mess of a time for what should have just been an easy fix. I've been with Cricket for at least 10 years or more, so I'm not a new customer, or someone that switches every time I have an issue, but this one almost cost them my business. If not for the person working on Friday afternoon the 29th. of May, 2026, Everett WA. store, I would be with another carrier.
