I ordered a sandwich for over $12 just before noon on 4/11/2026. After finishing the sandwich, I tried to use the restroom, but it was locked and there was a sign on the bathroom door saying “PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY.” I asked the male employee for a key, but he told me the restroom was “out of order.” I wasn’t born yesterday. I know that “our restroom is out of order” is usually a face-saving lie, either because the employee can’t be bothered, or because management is a bunch of liars who told him to say that. And even if…IF…the bathroom was really out of order, for $12 a sandwich, it’s the job of the Subway employees to make it usable again ASAP, so either way, this situation is unsatisfactory.
Now I’m sitting on an intercity bus, bladder bursting, because I wasn’t allowed to use the restroom, and that was my only shot to use a restroom before getting on the bus to Tumwater, so here’s your one-star review, you’re welcome!
