This is my favorite UPS store. My entire family lives out of town and I ship at UPS a lot. I have closer options and choose to drive an extra 20 minutes because the staff is so courteous. Customer service is important and this store excels. It’s a very busy location and every customer is treated with sincerity, calm and a smile. No request is too large and every request is met with consideration. I especially want to thank the owner/manager. She is a credit to your company and I am especially grateful for her kindness over the years.

If I could give zero stars I would!!!! Don't go here to pick up or ship a package. My parents went to China recently, and they contacted me about an important item that needed to be shipped urgently to their hotel in China for medical reasons.The lady who took my package assured me that the package would be sent overnight shipping in 2-3 days time. And this place charged me about $275 to ship the package. A week went by before my father called me saying he had not received his package. Multiple calls later with this location and being told I needed to call their international UPS line, to locate my lost package. The woman on the international line told me the package was still at this location. And that it had never left. I was peeved a but patient. I politely asked multiple times for a refund. I didn't even care for the package back. It was cheap and replaceable. I just wanted my money back. Every time I asked they would give me the run around, and their Manager, Celeste who was responsable for issuing the refund, wasn't honest with me about the refund. When I would ask, she would answer with this excuse that had nothing to do with the refund. After asking her 4 times she told that the refund came from a 3rd party. That was supposed to call me about getting the refund started. That 3rd party never called me at all. I suspect Celeste was lying about that too. Now there's this whole investigation that the place wants to do over a $20 (at most) value package that was "lost". My parents have long returned from China weeks ago so they don't need the package anymore. Yet here we are still in the middle of a ridiculous investigation that has become a huge hassle and I haven't been refunded yet. Still waiting. Honestly I really don't recommend this location at all. They are lousy and dishonest about handling packages. All in all, don't go here it's a waste of your time, and money.

Last April I shipped a ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR. it was a return, to CALIF..the PRICE of WHEELCHAIR was $800 and FREIGHT CHARGE was $177 to this date a year later no attempt to reimburse me for any MONEY, they told me nothing. I am a Senior Citizen on limited income, this really hurts a lot..#######

Im a older woman in a wheelchair that had been left with a huge assembled item and a broke down box by someone whom I'd paid $200 to basically take advantage of me and leave me in this mess...Anyway, the item being a mobility scooter intended to replace my broken wheelchair was crucial and not working so I needed to return it. The issue is I couldn't even go into the store because I have no working wheelchair. Christopher, who should be UPS employee of the year came right outside to my vehicle to help. He not only Put the box together he also dismantled and packaged the scooter and took the code for me. This was SO FAR BEYOND HIS JOB.
I have experienced a lot of ill treatment from people because of my disability and need for assistance, but Christopher treated me with absolute kindness.
This young man was Raised right! His parents should be proud and UPS should be grateful to have him .
Christopher, again Thank you , your kindness came at a point were I was painfully close to giving up....This thing that was Probobly very little for you, literally gave me some hope for this world of ours

Update 5.11.26: the communication by the owners has created a data breach for our private information. This branch owners are unreliable and threaten their customers for their own mistakes. The corporate response to our data breach has been silence.
Update 4.8.26: the branch and ups corporate have still not followed up on the branch mistake from 3.12.26, and continue to request documentation we've already provided to both entities. The communication is poor at UPS corporate and at this branch.
The branch cuts off service without warning, the store is chronically understaffed which leaves room for a lot of poor communication and preventable mistakes. I wish they would open a branch under a different branch owner in Mt. Vernon so that this branch wasn't so overwhelmed and was motivated to communicate with their customers. If you can do business elsewhere prioritize those options even if you've had good experience at a different branch like we had in the past.
