  Probably the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto repair shop. They checked out my 92 LeBaron for over an hour and a half, told me what I needed and didn’t charge me anything!! Most shops would have at least charged me for shop fees but not here. Totally Awesome!!!

  I was driving my Tesla headed to St. Johnsbury supercharger when my Tire Flat warning came on. I got to the charger in the nick of time but I had an unfixable flat. Fortunately, the St.Johnsbury supercharger is 0.1 mile away from a great tire shop - Gills Point S Tire & Auto. I charged up the vehicle, used a portable 12V tire pump to get the tire loaded up enough to drive and made the quick dash to Gills. Long story long they fixed the tire and i was on my way. I don't know of any other supercharger with this kind of access to a tire shop so good to keep in mind when driving on I91. Thanks again!

  I went in for an oil change and state inspection. While working on my vehicle, the technician physically tore the corner of my windshield film (a clear UV protector) without saying a word to me. Instead of notifying me of an issue, they passed the vehicle, took my money, and sent me on my way with a greasy windshield and damaged property. When I noticed the tear and called to ask for a refund to make it right, the manager, Nick, was incredibly rude over the phone, immediately getting defensive and talking over me. When I went back to the shop in person to handle it, he was just as hostile. He tried to intimidate me by shouting that the film was illegal, without ever asking if I had a valid state medical exemption or doctor's note for the UV protection. He even threatened to report his own shop's passing inspection to the DMV to scare me out of a refund. I bypassed Nick and contacted the owner directly, who rightfully refunded my full $350 for the service. I handed back the inspection sticker to void the transaction and completely wash my hands of them. The owner did the right thing, but Nick’s aggressive attitude (both on the phone and in person) combined with the destruction of my property means I will never step foot in this shop again. Avoid this place.

  These guys really came through in a pinch. We're on vacation and had no appointment. We showed up at closing time, they said they would squeeze us in the next day. They did, and at checkout they said 'no charge.' Very cool and generous establishment. As friendly as everyone else we've met in St Johnsbury.
