Be careful giving your card information to this location. They may just steal your money too!
On Saturday evening (5/16/2026), I received an email notification that an order had been placed using the gift card attached to my Subway® app account. The order was placed at a Subway location in Virginia, despite me living in Oklahoma and not having visited a Subway location recently.
Before the order was even submitted, the phone number connected to my account/order information had been changed without my authorization. The order then used nearly the entire balance of my gift card, leaving only $0.11 remaining.
I immediately contacted the store that same evening. Unfortunately, the employee I spoke with was extremely unprofessional, used inappropriate language during the call, and told me it was my responsibility to contact my bank — even though this involved a Subway gift card connected to the Subway app.
I contacted the store again on Monday and Thursday and was repeatedly told that the manager/franchise owner would contact me regarding a refund. As of today, I still have not received any communication or reimbursement. The store is now no longer answering my calls.
I have screenshots and order history showing the unauthorized order and the changes made to the account information prior to the transaction. I cannot explain how my gift card information was accessed, but no effort has been made to resolve the issue despite multiple attempts over more than seven business days.
I’m sharing this so other customers can be cautious when using gift cards through the Subway app and to document my experience with this franchise location.

Ordered to this location on accident via the mobile app. I called immediately to request cancellation of the order. The associate told me that he couldn't cancel the order and that I HAD to come pick it up. I used a coupon for a free footlong so I let them sit on it. I hate to waste food, especially with the cost of ingredients being so high. However, in this case I refuse to set foot inside a business that openly demonstrates poor customer service. A simple click of a button could've cancelled my order. Everyone knows this is an option.
