  I was here on the 10th for new batteries for my truck and the younger guy that helped me put was awesome! Unfortunately I came back today for OW-16 to change the oil in my wife's car. The older guy who I interacted with today asked me what kind of oil I was looking for and I told him OW-16. He asked "what is it for...like hydraulic oil?? ". I told him no, engine oil. He really told me "No thats not right, go get your owner's manual". I took out my phone and showed him the picture that I had of the owners manual that showed the what type of oil the vehicle took and he said "well that just means it has to meet those specifications" and proceeded to go start looking at the back of different oils like 5W-30. He then started asking for the make and model and year and trim and I walked out to the car mostly because I was mad but also to verify trim (It doesn't make a difference on the this specific year) and he started complaining to my wife about how this is why he doesn't like hybrids. We ended up just leaving. I told this dude from the start what type of oil I needed and he was rude and condescending. I dont even know if they had it or not. I bought it from Walmart and nobody was rude to me or my wife. We were there July 13th around 4 PM. Again not the younger nice guy who helped me with my batteries 3 days ago. It was the older fella working.

  PAUL WAS HORRIBLE. I was standing in line and unfortunately the lady that was at the register had to run to her car and come back to the register. The worker communicated that to me so I stepped back. Paul comes up to his register and asks the person BEHIND me to come to his register. Thank goodness he was a great guy and said he wasn’t next I was and pointed at me. No acknowledgment from Paul, no apology nothing, he didn’t even look at me to motion me to come to his register-and I was RIGHT BESIDE HIM. He didn’t even speak other than to say to put my phone number in the keypad at the end of the transaction . At the register it was the exact product I was buying on a special (high mileage and BOGO 50%) and he didn’t even try to upsell me or anything. No thank you have a nice day, nothing and was preparing to walk away and I had to ASK for a bag. I’ve been to NUMEROUS Advance Autos from VA to NY and all have been really nice, accommodating, speak when you come in or even come to the register. Ask if you’ve got any questions, upsell you on items you may need, and wish you a good day afterwards regardless of how busy the store is. This store wasn’t even busy and I didn’t do anything to him to deserve that level of treatment. You NEVER have to worry about me coming back to this store. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
