  My wife and I stopped in for a minor purchase ... wiper blades. The first gentleman we saw greeted us, and it really came across as sincere. Then we met Monica D. and it took on another dimension. She was warm and welcoming, and walked us through what we needed, what our options were (and NOT solely the most expensive brand!), explained the warranty and then installed the blades. That may not sound like a great deal, but it was a delightful experience with a professional who really does know what customer service is all about. Are we going back there? Oh, my goodness, yes!

  Absolutely terrible customer service from Monica. I purchased a tool just four days ago and never even had the chance to use it before being told it was defective. Despite the tool carrying a lifetime warranty, Monica was unable or unwilling to provide a refund, and the replacement item was conveniently out of stock. When I asked a simple question about when the item would be available again, I was met with a rude attitude, dismissive responses, and complete lack of professionalism. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, Monica acted as though my concerns were an inconvenience. Customer service is supposed to assist customers, not make them feel brushed off and unwelcome. I left extremely disappointed with both the handling of the warranty claim and the disrespectful treatment I received. If this is the level of service customers can expect, I would strongly reconsider doing business here again.

  Visited this location on Saturday April 4th 2026 to buy a new battery for my truck & left disappointed. When I asked the gentleman (black male with dreadlocks) at the register for confirmation of battery installation with the purchase of a battery, he said it depends on the vehicle. After going out to my truck and looking under the hood, he states that he wouldn't be able to install the battery because of the panels that were surrounding it (panels weren't hard to remove at all). I said "What if I take the panels off?" which he replies "I don't recommend it" (either he didn't know what he was doing or just didn't want to install the battery). Needless to say I left and went to the Auto Zone on Holland Road, which a kind staff member was able to remove the panels and replace my battery without ANY issue. Would not recommend Advanced Auto Parts to anyone as Auto Zone has a more competent staff who can better assist you with your auto part needs.
