  Needed to return an item to vendor for refund. Vendor sent me return label. Took to Vienna VA FedEx office and they affixed return label and shipped item. After a month and not receiving a refund, I inquired with company. Never received item. I had received a delivered notice from FedEx and sure enough FedEx screwed up and delivered to wrong address. Company said I had to get with FedEx as I was the one that dealt with FedEx. Went to FedEx office in Vienna, VA. Worthless. Would not help me. Said it was not their responsibility. Gave me an 800 number and the BOT I encountered was equally worthless. Certainly not ChatGPT. Couldn't get to a human being. Finally got to Customer Service. Rep was not quite with the program and I gave up when I asked if there was anyone in all of FedEx that could help me. He didn't know of anyone. I requested to speak to his supervisor -- after extended wait got me to Byron. Byron is also worthless. Said I had to file a claim. Said I had already done that at the Vienna VA office. Byron shared with me there was no record. I tried filling out a claim but couldn't get past first screen as asked for my account no. I don't have an account with FedEx. Explained to Byron. He said he didn't know what to do. Said to get the company to fill out the form. I shared that they already said no. I asked if there was anyone within Federal Express that cared about a customer more so than just doing their job. As with the other party, Byron was programmed to share he was just doing his job. I am left holding the bag. Federal Express will not assist me when they know they screwed up. Don't know what else to do but forward this note to the President of FedExpress and see if there is any action. Already know the answer but will try anyway. Folks, if you have an option, don't go with Federal Express. The primary reason is that they are so focused on doing their exact job that they forget their customers. They need to put themselves in the shoes of the customer but this is a concept a bit too far of a reach for them -- at least I have not encountered anyone in my brief encounter with FedEx. Gave one star because there is no option of zero starts.
