I will start this off by saying that I normally have a decent experience when ordering here, which i do often. Today I submitted my order for pickup at 2:47, with an estimated ready time of 3:05. While on the way I stopped at a gas station nearby, and when I got back to my car I had 2 missed calls. I called the number back, and it was Subway calling..wanting me to know that they were out of every type of bread, except flatbread. I asked how long it would be and she said 60 minutes. I said one hour(just to verify that I had heard correctly), and she said basically. So I said it's okay just cancel my order and that was it. The missed calls I received were both at 3:02. My order had been submitted 15 minutes earlier. I have two problems with this. First, when I've ordered on the app before, it has let me know when they were out of something so we didn't have an issue like this. Second, she had my order for 15 minutes, but waited until 3 minutes before 'ready' time to make me aware that they were out of something. Not just something, though..bread. not just a missing condiment. They literally could not make a sandwich. Subway, please train your staff to handle these situations better. I get the feeling that the employees are okay with having people go elsewhere, as it does not affect their paycheck.
