I don’t give out many bad reviews, but you want to read this. I ordered my food at 7:05 and did not receive it until after 9:00pm. It said my food would be ready, on the app, by 7:40-7:45. I arrived at 7:40 because I want it to be as hot as possible. I waited for a very long time before bringing it to their attention. Excuses were made. I waited and asked again. Excuses were made. I showed some frustration and asked if it was normal to wait this long? It apparently is. The worst is knowing nothing will be done about this experience. I will see to it that I tell every single person I know (and I’m going out of my way to do this), that they should not order from Wingstop and to tell their friends to do the same. That is, until they rectify the two hours of my life that I will never get back.
Better yet, my food was missing items. What can you do? People saying “they are new” don’t understand how fresh training and procedures work. This should be systematic by week 3. A rhythm should be evident. It was unacceptable.

So this is our second time eatting wing stop and we did delivery because the first time I ordered it told me 15 to 20 minutes and I had to wait 45 minutes then our food was cold like it had just been sitting. So they use door dash which I quit using months back because of the terrible delivery times today same thing the poor dasher apologized and said they placed him with two other orders besides ours and the fries were freezing. Chicken was okay not all of them were sauced properly and the corn was cold too. I want to like this buisness but it’s been a little bit of a disappointment. We had to use the air fryer to reheat our food.

Wingstop is good and we love it but this location has major issues atm. I placed an order of 20 wings. Pick up time said between 8:52-8:57pm. We got our order at 9:31pm and the wings were cold like they were seating there until someone decided to start calling names. Please work on getting those orders out the door when they come out because it defeats the purpose of a wait when the wings are ready… I don’t mind waiting if my wings and fries are going to be fresh and well made but my wings were cold and not well cooked plus not enough sauce was added to it so they became very dry …. We’ll give this store another chance once people have calmed down.
There are always 30- 40 some odd people crammed into the lobby in a store meant for maybe half as many, If that. I'm surprised no one's called a code inspector on them over it yet tbh. Orders take forever - I've had several and have yet to even pick up one due to the wait time. I've had to unassign or cancel all of them - and let dash support know what's going on every time. Dashers get rated on how long it takes to complete an order and penalized if we're late - even if it's not our fault. We can't be waiting 20 mins to an hour on orders. They need to either turn off dash orders when they're slammed, or mark it in their end that it's delayed so it doesn't send drivers out until closer to it being done. Idk if it's just that they're new or horrible management but they need to get their stuff together
I really don't think they need to be allowing delivery service orders until they get better organized and figure out a better way to fulfill these orders on time (and they're using more than one - some orders were marked grubhub too... But using 2+ delivery services + their in-house mobile orders and juggling that with in person orders in the first few opening weeks of a tiny store is not working).
I also cannot imagine what the kitchen staff is going through with it being so slammed the entire time they're open - their employee turnover is going to be insane if management doesn't start fixing things
This needs to be said on behalf of the positive hard working staff I encountered today. I work in the food industry. It was my first time having Wingstop. DO NOT BE DECIEVED ABOUT WAIT TIME COMPLAINTS - This place JUST opened up. Complaints about waiting times when hundreds of people are flocking in to order are just really distasteful, inconsiderate, and just generally disrespectful ofcourse we're talking about Google, Yelp, or any place you can leave a review. People reportedly coming in and canceling their orders also made them become backed up a bit more. 🗣 IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO WAIT, DONT MESS UP THE FLOW BY CANCELING AN ORDER IN PROGRESS. 🗣
The staff in Roanoke almost broke a Wingstop record sale yesterday, so congratulations to them! It was ofcourse very very busy when I came in, as a first time customer it was a little overwhelming seeing how many people were inside and outside waiting - though this was generally understandable.
Once I placed my order the cashier Mariyah was very pleasant, she had a smile on her face, and seemed very composed; not rushed or irritated. She informed me it would be about an hour wait, so I grabbed a drink and hung around the plaza for a little while. Once I came back after about an hour and ten minutes my food was ready. A lady called my name and she seemed positive and happy to give me my order. The food was hot, my order was correct, and I will be a regular customer before and after the huge blast of beginning business here in Roanoke. This staff should be very proud of themselves for maintaining their composure and seeming so positive and friendly for what could have been more chaos and negative atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves wings!!!!
Once again - ⚠️disregard wait time complaints!! ⚠️
It is very hard to believe people will complain about such a thing in reviews of a store that just opened and almost broke a historic Wingstop record because of such a high business volume.
