  I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this Roanoke FedEx location. I went in on Wednesday to ship a time-sensitive package and explained exactly when it needed to arrive. The store manager told me that the best way to ensure it arrived on the right day was to come back on Friday to ship it. I trusted her advice and returned on Friday, only to be told that the only way to get the package there when needed would cost about $150. The standard shipping option would now arrive later than needed, making it impossible for the package to be delivered when it was intended. Had I been given accurate information on Wednesday, I could have made an informed decision. I could have paid for expedited shipping then, chosen a different shipping method, or even used another carrier. Instead, I relied on the guidance of the store manager and ended up with a package arriving later than planned. The issue isn't that expedited shipping is expensive. It's that I made my decision based on inaccurate guidance from the person managing the store. Customers should be able to trust the information they're given, especially when they're making decisions based on delivery dates. Unfortunately, this experience completely undermined my confidence in FedEx.

  terrible customer service for the last 5 years. All employees & some customers have tried to be "friends" with me when all I am there for is to send a FEDEX letter.

  I've experienced excellent service as well as high quality photo prints at the Colonial Ave. FedEx several times this year. I'm new to ordering prints online and the manager, Crystal, helped me out for the most recent order.. Friendly, efficient and very helpful. I visited the store midday on a weekday so the store wasn't super busy. She had some creative suggestions for canvas prints and custom metal images (See photo) which were also welcome. A great neighborhood resource!
