  This happened on August 28, 2026 at the Wingstop on Frederick Blvd in Portsmouth. I placed a carryout order for the Watch Party Bundle, which included a large order of all carrots, large ranch, Jamaican Jerk BBQ wings, Carolina Gold BBQ wings, and Mango Habanero wings. I also specifically selected well done / extra cook time. When I picked up my order, the carrots were completely missing. No one told me when I arrived that they were out, and no one contacted me before preparing the order to let me know they couldn’t fulfill that part of it. I only discovered the carrots were missing because I checked my own order before leaving. After I brought it up, I was offered brownies instead. I ordered carrots because that is what I wanted with my meal. Brownies are not a reasonable substitute for a vegetable side, especially without asking me beforehand. I then had to drive to the Churchland Blvd Wingstop, where they actually had carrots, and spend an additional $5.10 to purchase them separately. Had the Frederick Blvd location simply communicated that they were out before completing my order, I could have ordered from Churchland in the first place and saved myself the extra trip, gas, time, and money. The wings themselves were only alright. Some of the chicken seemed a bit undercooked, which was especially disappointing considering I specifically requested well done with extra cook time. The sauce was also poorly distributed. It looked more like sauce had been poured into the container and the chicken placed or tossed into it rather than the wings actually being coated. I ended up having to coat the chicken myself. The issue wasn’t just that they ran out of carrots. Things run out. The bigger problem was the lack of communication, having to discover the missing item myself, being offered an unrelated substitute, having to go to another location and pay extra, and then still receiving wings that were not prepared particularly well. For a $31.77 order, I expected much better food quality and service.

  Marijuana is being smoked literally at the door. People are screaming and hollaring into the restaurant from outside. Nobody seems to be making wings? I would not feel safe or comfortable eating here. Ever. Do not take kids in.

  Just got a completely different person's order. Driver claims thats what was handed to them by the employee. I get late night service, but punctuality shouldn't waver. Adding insult to injury, it was a sizable order of food.

  I don't know why I keep coming to this location, they mess up every time. Missing fries, missing sauces, missing wings. Everytime something missing and I keep coming back anyway. Must be something wrong with me
