I wish I could give zero stars.
I recently moved into an apartment building and was expecting an important FedEx delivery. FedEx made three delivery attempts, but the drivers were unable to complete the delivery. Instead, they left door tags in the lobby.
I followed the instructions on the door tag for redelivery and called FedEx numerous times trying to resolve the issue. Every time I called, I was given little to no help. I was eventually told to go to the FedEx shipment center to pick up my package. After taking time out of my day to drive there, I was informed that my package had already been returned to the sender. The trip was completely unnecessary because no one had told me the package was no longer there.
To make matters worse, the employee who assisted me, Y. Manor, was rude and dismissive. After everything I had already gone through, I expected professionalism and a willingness to help—not an attitude that made an already frustrating situation even worse.
My apartment management told me I wasn't the only resident experiencing delivery issues with FedEx. Because I wanted to help prevent this from happening again, I personally brought FedEx a building key fob and the current access code provided by my rental office so future deliveries could be made without access problems.
This entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. Poor communication, inaccurate information, and a lack of accountability turned what should have been a routine delivery into an unnecessary ordeal. I expect much better from FedEx.
