  Ok here's the thing: Chrissy was amazing. If you're a woman shopping for auto parts, talk to her. She's super friendly, very knowledgeable and had our back. Chris, however, looks down on women. I came in with my partner, and she needed some windshield wipers. She knows her car inside and out but has never bought windshield wipers before. She asked for help from Chris. Not only did he act like she was an inconvenience, but he then proceeded to ignore her request for help. She picked a windshield wiper and he put them on the car and then, and only then, did he inform us that we picked the wrong wiper for the rear (and it seemed clear he blamed my partner). He made a mistake and blamed it on her. 0/5 for Chris. 5/5 for Chrissy.

  My hometown Advance Auto has given me the confidence to visit other Advance Auto locations whenever I am need of automotive parts or know how. A few weeks ago I was left with a terribly noisy exhaust issue and found the nearest Advance Auto in Roanoke Rapids, NC, and just like that, problem solved. The rest of the 3 hour drive home was effortless and stress free. But I wouldn't have been so calm about the whole ordeal had I not first gotten familiar with the extensive inventory at the Kilmarnock store. Ravanne and her team have always been very helpful in finding the right parts to get my projects moving forward. Even when parts need to be ordered, they arrive so fast, it's impressive, especially for a more rural location where shipping often takes additional time. I am just a hobby mechanic, so I'm always impressed when Ravanne or another team member can take my description of problem and explain potential solutions. Just today when I visited, Ravanne helped someone with a unique part from an older vehicle and while the part wasn't in stock, she got it ordered and the customer was ecstatic. It was so cool. The consistency of care they provide is why I will keep coming back. Thanks!
