I was excited to see that Subway was open this early in the morning. However, to my surprise as I stepped into the store, I was greeted by foreign music. I asked the server that was working, if she could let me know what type of music was playing but she had no response. I was not trying to be rude or insensitive just didn’t understand why. Quite frankly, I found it offensive that anyone would play foreign music in an American Sandwich shop of all places. I could understand if I was in a foreign restaurant and that particular music was playing. I would have no problem with that. I asked the attendant if she could please let her manager know that I did not feel comfortable with the music playing in the background. She told me that was automated - started when Subway opened and stopped when closed. She also stated that there was no manager, only the owner which comes in periodically unannounced. So I told her if she could let him know of my concerns. She responded that I can go and share my opinion on this platform. So here it is. Furthermore, I noticed that the tomatoes were frozen, as well as the bell peppers, cucumbers, and pickles, so I’ve had a very plain sandwich. I will not eat there again.
