  I had to go to advance to get some parts for my Nissan versa I had an amazing experience everyone was super nice and willing to help even whenever I was very unsmart or uneducated in the situation they were able to help me in the right direction on what I needed to get for my car and was able to do it in a reasonable manner. I will always recommend anyone to the Chilhowie advance.

  I swear if I could give negative stars this place would be the first one. HIRE SOMEONE THAT CAN ACTUALLY FIND THE PARTS. It’s bad I’d rather drive 10 minutes than even try to buy anything here because I’ll just be back arguing over it being the right part.

  Writing I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this one is more than deserved. I recently ran into a serious issue with my L86 6.2L—dealing with lifter and cam problems that can turn into a nightmare fast if you don’t have the right guidance. I stopped by Advance Auto Parts hoping for some direction, and what I got was far beyond that. The store manager stepped in and took the time to really understand what was going on with my engine. He didn’t just try to sell me parts—he asked the right questions, broke things down in a way that actually made sense, and helped me narrow in on exactly what I needed for my situation. His knowledge of the L86 platform, especially when it comes to lifter failure and cam wear, was seriously impressive. What stood out the most was his willingness to go the extra mile. He walked me through potential causes, explained the differences in parts and quality, and made sure I wasn’t throwing money at the wrong fix. That kind of honesty and expertise is hard to find these days. You can tell he’s not just doing a job—he actually understands and cares about what he’s helping with. I’ve dealt with a lot of parts stores over the years, and I can honestly say he’s one of the most knowledgeable auto parts managers I’ve ever come across. Because of him, I walked out confident in what I was doing instead of second-guessing everything. If you’re dealing with anything from a basic repair to something as involved as a lifter/cam issue, this is the place to go—and he’s the person you want to talk to. 5 stars all the way.

  Wow what a store! They were very helpful and the manager even installed my wiper blades in the pouring rain because I didnt know how. Very welcoming staff and super friendly
