  Short and terrible!!! The guy behind the counter was on his phone sitting on a chair. He was visibly irritated when he realized he would have to get up to do a search for the part I needed. He also had no clue what it was. Uneducated and rude is exactly how I would rete the employees at Advance Auto in Blacksburg. I won't be going back after using this very same store for most of my adult life. Now I know why the parking lot is always empty!!!I also have to add that now 3 days later I tried to call this store and the answering service just hangs up after hearing a god awful sound. Seriously why is this store even open??? They Suck!!!!

  Advance auto at north main street in Blacksburg. Kyle is the man. Very smart very helpful. Only person I like to deal with.

  Came in right before closing for a minor issue and the gentleman at the counter was able to fix the problem. I appreciated his level of detail and willingness to stay a little bit after closing. I'll be back!

  Went in to buy a product and staff were unhelpful and insulting. I'm not great with cars but in the current economy I am trying to fix one of my vehicles when I went into the Blacksburg AutoZone I was not greeted or asked if I could be helped finding the item I thought I needed I went to the register The cashier was so unfriendly and awkward I left the building without getting my receipt, not 5 minutes after my original purchase I discovered that the piece was not what I in fact needed. Going back into the location I was met with the same awkward hostility from staff even to the point of them laughing at me for not knowing what I needed. I originally thought of buying a more expensive replacement for my part however after being mocked by the staff I did a simple exchange hopefully I'll be able to fix my vehicle if not I'm never going back to this AutoZone again.

  I had a very disappointing experience with Melissa at Advanced Auto Parts. She was extremely rude and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. When I asked for assistance, her tone was dismissive and unprofessional. It genuinely felt like she did not want to do her job or provide basic customer service. As a paying customer, I expect respectful communication and at least a minimal level of effort to help. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit. I hope management addresses this because it reflects poorly on the store. I genuinely didn’t want to leave a star. If anything I was going to leave it blank, but it wouldn’t let me post it. also she had me carry the battery because she had “shoulder surgery” and now i have a strain in my neck and also refused to change my battery!!!! ???
