I had a six figure cashiers check sent to me via FedEx. The shipper dropped the envelope and Check off at this location in Alexandria. However, the driver never came to pick up outbound shipments from that location on that particular day. That’s the first issue, there’s no consistency with shipping. I decided to drive to that location over an hour and a half away rather than trust FedEx to ship such a large dollar figure cashiers check. When I arrived and requested the envelope, the person working the front desk, simply handed it to me without even asking for ID. The thought that a cashiers check valued at over $100,000 was handed to someone without an ID request is insane to me. Also, while in line the cashiers food arrived, and she asked her colleague to help her. Her colleague quipped “do you mean with the gentleman line” at which point the cashier quickly corrected her and said no, my food delivery. So obviously their priorities are in order.
Had to ship a box to a family member overseas, which I hadn’t done in a while. Ebony and Adriane were super helpful and friendly. Came in one day and Ebony noticed that the city code I was given appeared incorrect. She advised to double check with the family member and come in to ship the next day. So I did. And my family member said yes, he accidentally gave me the wrong city code. Oops! Ebony sent another box stateside with no issues as well & the same day that was just delivered, no issues. Came back the next day with correct address and Adriane helped me. Again, super friendly and willing to help with all of my questions. If they wouldn’t have said anything, that box would have likely sat in customs forever. Thanks so much Ebony & Adriane! These employees deserve a pay raise or a nice day off! 😁😁 Well, at least that’s my take since they were such a huge help! Thanks!!
It’s not there anymore
I arrived before they closed. I asked to print a document and they stated “we close in 3 minutes and email will take too long to get pdf.” They said I could come back tomorrow. I explained I had a class in the morning that I needed the printout for and as I was not from the area I had no access to a printer. I offered to “tip” them for their extra time. They were resolute in their stance. I get it, I hate to work late. They suggested I go to a center that would stay open later. Great! Where is one. Response: “I don’t know…Google it” Thanks for no customer service!

I would NOT trust the staff at this location to care about how they handle your packages. I shipped out a FedEx retractable banner from this Alexandria location to a location in Chicago, ahead of a conference. When I arrived in Chicago to pick up my package, it was damaged because the shippers neglected to actually BOX THE BANNER! Which makes no sense especially because it is a product that they produce! They didn’t care to protect the fragile, retractable banner when shipping it across the country! Insane.
