  Please fire Lawrence or Lawson (I forgot his name but I’m 99% sure it starts with an L) he is African American & has a big belly & somewhat long hair. (not sure else how to describe him). He is the laziest rude employee I have ever seen. I visited this 4349 Duke street location because the one on baileys crossroad didn’t have power and He had so many bad remarks like saying “grown man and doesn’t even know what kind of car he drives” well sorry but I’m barely in the country and drive maybe 3,4 times a times a month. Of course I don’t know every detail about my car. I had to swap my car battery and it literally says free battery changes yet he refused to do anything besides look at us. The lady there was very helpful but the Lawrence guy is just miserable and doesn’t deserve a job. When he was checking my car battery he was literally smoking cigarettes and puffing it in our faces. Who even does that? Whoever is the manager needs to discipline him or fire him

  Just called in at 845, fifteen minutes before they say they close. An employee answered, barked "We're closed" at me and hung up before I could say anything. So much for friendly service.

  I went this morning to this location to test my battery, and the associate told me that we do not test when it rains!!!!!

  I came to advance auto parts to change and have my car battery installed. I come here for all my car accessories and parts because this location has always treated me great with service and they are very knowledgeable and i’ve always felt confident about information given about any and all issue I’ve been concerned about But yesterday was a completely and upsetting experience that I would’ve never thought to happen here. I went in there and was thrown for a complete loop with how terrible the attitude and service was yesterday. I encountered who I believe to be the store manager, Mr. Gerson Hernandez, who already seems like anything I was about to ask him was going to have a negative energy with the attitude that was presented with the weak greeting and passiveness. Nonetheless, I went in there with the confidence because of prior encounters with other staff that this was gonna be a positive one as always, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I recently had surgery so I wanted to go there to get the great service I always got. And get this battery installed, but the store manager told me that they don’t do battery installs and I know this is incorrect information because this is not the first time that I’ve had to get the battery changed. So I asked him well. Can I get a battery test at least and I’ll come back another time and he told me to give him a few moments with the customer behind me then you’ll be able to help me do little five year-old girl stuff because that’s all he does there.. I couldn’t believe what he just said to me, so I just grabbed my things off the register and left.
