  I switched my home insurance to Mountain View Insurance Agency after receiving a mailer and completing a quick online quote. Their system pulled my data easily, and the agent I spoke with over the phone seemed very nice, competent, and experienced. Trusting her, I made the jump because they promised to save me $800 a year on my premium. My extreme frustration began just a week later when I received a notice from Allstate stating my home was uninsurable unless I removed the mulch garden beds next to my house. This was a complete shock, especially since mulch beds are standard for almost every home in Utah. My agent was supposedly reviewing satellite images of my property to assess other structures like my fence, so she should have easily spotted the mulch beds and known Allstate’s guidelines. A professional looking out for their client's best interests would have warned me up front that this policy wouldn't work out. To make matters worse, the customer service since then was nonexistent. I reached out via phone calls and multiple texts, and I received no follow-up for over 10 calendar days. Even if someone is on vacation, a professional agency should have a backup system to handle client issues. I deeply regret leaving my prior insurance for this lack of transparency and communication.

  My experience with Mountain View, Insurance was amazing. Kylee Hardy was very pleasant to talk too. She had all the numbers fast and was able to answer all my questions. Usually I hate dealing with insurance agents but Kylee made the experience enjoyable. Thank you Kylee for getting me a very good price on my insurance and for making the experience enjoyable.
