  I am a lifelong member, always seeking out The Church of Jesus Christ wherever we visit in the world. My family lives in west Layton, and we go to this church building every Sunday and our children go to Wednesday youth activities. There's a park nearby but I have actually never been there and can't really comment on it. There is no paid clergy. The bishop and other leaders are volunteers and are committed to being Christ's hands on earth. I love the traditional hymns and weekly opportunity to partake of the Sacrament bread and water. We believe in the Bible and that God loves all of His children and continues to speak to us today. If you would like to visit the building before a Sunday service, there are local missionaries that could give a church tour.

  I haven't been in the church but they do a a large grassy area with a very sad park. The grassy area was very dirty and full of trash (condom wrappers, food wrappers, clothes, bones, and other mis trash). Not super busy. Had tables and fire pit, bathroom. It's ok. Could improve.
