  False advertising and scam marketing. I received a home insurance estimate in the mail citing 240$/month. That was significantly better than my current rate so I called the office to discuss. Right off the bat they say “well your price may be slightly different but let’s run it” and they immediately try to change the coverages around vs what was shown on the estimate. I had them readjust to get as close as possible to the mail estimate (less than 2% deviation) and they for all quoted me 480$/month (LITERALLY DOUBLE). The immediate excuse was “well if you bundled auto it would be cheaper”. I highly doubt combining auto would adjust my home owners down 50% not to mention, the mailed in estimate says “save even more by combining auto” (see yellow highlight in attached images) I’m very rarely this petty, and I understand the game, but to falsely advertise a rate that is half of the “real rate” is poor practice. I would be hesitant to work with any company that operates this way. Pictures attached of the mail quote and the formal quote
