I have no qualms with Allstate.
I signed up with Allstate online and Allstate automatically assigned me to Joel Hurtado.
When I received another call from Trey Schrader from State Farm, yes I confirmed: he was wearing khakis.
(LOL)
Trey works through Cassie Thompson's office, worked with me professionally and offered me a new quote $104 less per month than Allstate was offering. So I immediately canceled my policy with Allstate.
So this morning I had not received my policy cash deposit of $201 yet as it had been since last Friday early afternoon when I canceled with Allstate.
Normally, I could be more patient, but with the COVID-19, Money has been extremely tight.
I emailed Joel as my first contact, as he didn't contact me once on my purchase online. I requested information on when I could expect my refund.
Well the receipt he emailed me is showing $171 was the refund, $30 less than I paid, but I also pressed further asking when I could expect it in my account, and his tone was read as negative response to me in frustration.
I felt disrespected and would recommend a different agent should you be assigned to Joel.
I guess I do have a problem with Allstate too. Their refund policy is a full refund with no fees.
Well, I'm finding out that this is also not true.
I'm hoping this negative review attracts the attention of those overseeing Joel and help me fix this for a full refund. I would change my rating if done.
