  I do NOT recommend this place! The main door to the back of the building does not shut!! Yes, I said DOES NOT shut! It stays open about 4 inches at all times. The pool area was so disgusting with trash overflowing around the trashcan and beer boxes stacked up all around. Grown men came inside the pool fence area and lit a BBQ pit, they had food and trash laid out across the tables as if prepping for a reunion drinking beer and smoking weed while my kids were trying to swim!! The hallways and elevator are hot and musty. DO NOT believe the website because there is not drinks and light snacks Mon - Thur!! The waffles are only available on weekends so don't get your kid's hopes up. The ac in our room struggled to keep the room somewhat comfortable and our ceiling fan didn't work at all. As a woman traveling with kids to VBS I did not feel comfortable staying at this place at all!!

  Do not recommend! Lets start with check in. Stood at the counter for 20 minutes. 10 minutes in, i called thinking maybe they have the phone on them. No answer, twice. When the clerk shows up no greeting or apology. Condition of room was poor. It had peeling wall paper with clear patch work. Pillow case was stained. Then after turning on the TV. I look over and i see a Cockroach the size of my thumb on the wall. (Pics) Pool party. I came back a little after 10. 20 people in the pool with music playing drink flowing. Now i didn't read the rules. But most hotels close the pool at 10pm. Over all do not recommend

  For the amount of money they charge I expected it to not look as old. Got the room with the jacuzzi tub and the tub was so cracked, dirty it was uncomfortable to even sit in which sucks cause paid extra for that room. The bed was so uncomfortable, air sucked, pool was dirty. Honestly biggest waste of money. Oh and there was a MASSIVE cockroach running around the floor my baby was crawling around on. Told the worker and they shrugged it off. Wish I could get my money back so bad!

  I recently stayed at Best Western Plus Hill Country Suites in room 302, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing due to the cleanliness and maintenance of the room. The restroom floor had visible stains and looked like it had not been mopped properly. Around the toilet area there was a strong urine smell, which made the bathroom feel unsanitary. The worst part was when we pulled out the couch sofa bed to get ready for bed and found multiple long toenails — over eight of them, some close to an inch long. It was extremely disgusting and clearly showed the room had not been cleaned thoroughly. There were also two TVs but only one remote. Later, we found the missing remote wedged on the side of the bed, which again made it seem like the beds are not properly cleaned or inspected between guests. Another issue that bothered us all night was a strange chirping noise coming from the middle console area between both beds. It sounded almost like a bat chirping and continued throughout the night, making it difficult to rest comfortably. Overall, this stay was very unpleasant, and I expected much better cleanliness and maintenance from this hotel.
