  They were busy today for lunch! This is why I ordered ahead of time. But they had my order ready quick while also taking care of their customers in line. My sandwich was so very good! No complaints from me!

  I wanted to take a minute and just give the team from the Walmart subway some recondition. We have been eating at this location a lot lately because we are building a house in town. We eat here because every time we come in Johnie the manager and his team are super friendly and care enough to know us by name. They also have figured out what we normally order and make subs the exact way we like. The store is always clean and neat. This is the place to go if you are looking for lunch in Port Lavaca.

  I like a good subway sandwich! However, on this particular visit, the lettuce was brown and looked as tho it had been sitting out for a couple days. I asked if they had fresh lettuce and the guy said he can't open a fresh one until the lettuce that is out there is used up first. Ewe! What happened to always Subway, always fresh?! Apparently, they don't honor that motto at this location.
