The employee accepted and scanned my envelope, so the basic transaction was completed. However, the customer service was extremely poor. She did not greet me, make eye contact, say a single word, or acknowledge me in any way. She simply extended her hand, took the envelope, scanned it, handed me the receipt, and walked away without even saying goodbye.
I was not expecting an elaborate conversation—just basic human courtesy and professionalism. A simple “Good morning,” “Thank you,” or “Have a nice day” would have made a tremendous difference. Customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience for walking into a customer-service business.
