  Battery issue. I spoke with Adrian, the store manager. I had a DieHard Platinum AGM H7 battery that appears to have a visible 06/24 date code/sticker, but I did not have the paper receipt and could not remember the phone number tied to the purchase. The battery details are: DieHard Platinum AGM H7-AGM / 94R / LN4 850 CCA 1000 CA 140-minute reserve capacity 80 Ah 12V I understand stores need proof of purchase, but I was disappointed there was no other help offered based on the battery itself, the date code, testing, barcode/model information, or any possible exception path. I wasn’t asking for cash back — only help with a possible defective battery exchange. Left feeling like the warranty is basically useless if you lose the receipt or can’t locate the phone number. ‐----- Update: Adrian/the store did call me back and agreed to process a replacement battery as an exception outside the normal proof-of-purchase policy. I appreciate that they ultimately helped resolve the issue. That said, the initial experience was frustrating because I felt there was no clear path offered at first despite the battery having visible model/date information. The replacement was completed with a 23-month warranty due to the exception. I’m updating this review to reflect that the store did make it right, but I still believe the process could have been handled better and explained more clearly from the start.

  I find what I need and staff are always very helpful. I prefer Advance Auto Parts to the other parts store.
