To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding extremely poor customer service and unprofessional conduct I experienced at your Subway location. The behavior displayed by the manager was unacceptable, disrespectful, and deeply concerning.
During my visit, the manager treated me with hostility and disrespect from the beginning of the interaction. Rather than attempting to assist me professionally or resolve concerns calmly, the manager became argumentative, dismissive, and confrontational. When I expressed that I did not appreciate being mistreated, the manager escalated the situation unnecessarily and threatened to call the police despite there being no valid reason to do so. I didn't break any laws, nor was there a breach of peace.
I also found the manager’s behavior to be discriminatory and racially motivated. The manner in which I was spoken to and treated appeared noticeably different and more hostile than how other customers were treated. No customer should ever feel targeted, disrespected, or intimidated while simply trying to purchase food. Businesses are expected to maintain an environment of professionalism, fairness, and respect for all individuals regardless of race or background.
This experience was humiliating, stressful, and completely inappropriate for a customer service environment. Threatening law enforcement simply because a customer speaks up about poor treatment is an abuse of authority and reflects very poorly on your establishment and management standards.
I am requesting that this matter be investigated seriously and that appropriate corrective action be taken regarding the manager’s conduct. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not hostility, intimidation, or discriminatory behavior.
I would appreciate a response regarding how this complaint will be addressed.
