Hire people that really want to be there and help. Not those that just want to sit, talk on the phone, give INCORRECT information that could really cause some serious car damage, and collect a check. I went in to get some antifreeze. I was told last summer that this particular antifreeze was what I needed for my car when I came into this location at that time. I noticed after doing a little research today, that I actually should be using another one because my car is newer. Same brand of antifreeze, just a different type for newer European vehicles. Walked in, grabbed the antifreeze, and told the clerk (cashier JG 00716307, working at 8:29pm on 4/27/26) talking on the phone after he finally put it on hold, the story of the last time I was in. Again, I had done my due diligence to look it up before going in, but decided MAYBE this "professional" would know better. Wrong. He literally was telling me ANYTHING and everything that was the complete opposite of what my research had shown, just to get back to his call. This is abhorrent!! I could've done as he'd suggested, which was just get the one that I just learned I needed and mix them. What?? Literally EVERYWHERE on the internet said specifically NOT DO THAT or it could cause significant damage! Please hire someone else. This guy hates his job, this company, AND customers that KEEP YOU IN BUSINESS -- no thanks to him.
I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this location recently.
I came in to return three items: a brand-new ignition coil (never installed and still in the original box), a set of seat covers, and a steering wheel cover that didn’t fit. From the moment I approached the counter, the interaction felt negative and unnecessarily confrontational.
The employee—who identified himself as the general manager—carefully inspected the ignition coil and immediately questioned whether it was the original part from the box because he didn’t see his markings. I had already explained that the part was never used or installed, yet his tone made it feel like I was being accused of trying to return the wrong item.
Things only got worse when I tried to return the seat covers. He initially stated they could not be returned because they had been opened, even though they were simply tried for fit and were still in resellable condition. He repeatedly referenced “store policy,” but there was no clear explanation provided at the time of purchase, nor was anything posted in-store.
Throughout the transaction, he continued to argue and justify himself, even while processing the return. At one point, he made a sarcastic comment comparing their policy to other retailers and said, “you must be special,” which was completely unprofessional.
What made this especially frustrating is that I am a loyal customer who spends a significant amount of money at this store. I’ve had consistently positive experiences with other employees here, but this interaction stood out in a very negative way. The tone, attitude, and repeated pushback were unnecessary and disrespectful.
To his credit, his demeanor improved toward the end of the transaction, but the overall experience had already been soured.
I’m not upset about store policies—I understand those exist. The issue was the way I was treated as a customer. Respect and professionalism should come standard, especially from someone in a management position.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as this experience has made me reconsider where I choose to spend my money going forward.
