I visited Subway and ordered a sandwich, but when I started eating, I noticed that chicken was missing from one half of the sandwich. When I brought this to the employee’s attention, instead of resolving the issue professionally, she told me to “spread the chicken around and eat it.”
I then requested to speak with the manager, and she stated that she herself was the manager. I was disappointed by the attitude and lack of customer service. As a paying customer, I expected a respectful resolution, especially since I paid full price for the sandwich.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, and she called the supervisor on the phone and explained the situation. It seemed the supervisor instructed her to remake the sandwich, but she still questioned it by asking, “Are you sure?” and appeared unwilling to resolve the issue properly.
The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. I believe customers should be treated respectfully when raising a valid concern about their order.
