Today I went to UPS store Lakeline at 9.30 for my fingerprint appointment. Sherri was there and the store was not busy at all and actually no one was there when I enter. Then I knocked on the reception desk and Sherryl came form the back and I told her I came for my appointment at 9.30 am. She refused to do it as there was no other coworker at that time . But store was completely empty and no customers present at that time she she did not respect for the appointment time and asked me to come again at 11 am. Then I went out of the store and stayed about 10 min in my car came back to the store again and asked form her whether she can do the appointment as no one came to the store over the last 10 min. She refused to do it again and she was not busy at all at that time . Her customer care skills are very poor when I return again at 11am she tried send me again back, telling me, finger print scan machine was not working . This kind of workers will damage the reputation of UPS.At the end when I asked her name as she was not wearing any name tag she hesitated to answer and "Sherry" she got pathetic customer care skills : FYI store manager and UPS

I foolishly tried to take a prepaid return that was actually for USPS to the store. It was some empty gas cartridges for a carbonator, and this know it all in the store, claimed that it was hazardous material and they could not accept it.
The correct answer was that it was supposed to go to the post office and not to UPS. But they were extremely rude and I will not be back to the store.

I visit this UPS Store only when absolutely necessary, which is usually for Amazon returns. Think of it as the customer service equivalent of going to the dentist, you don’t want to be there, but sometimes life gives you no choice.
Today’s visit was particularly memorable. I needed to send something for my business UPS trying to put aside my previous customer service beat downs thinking, I’m actually spending money this time so maybe things will be different.” NOPE!
As I approached the counter and was immediately greeted by an employee named LaRoy. And by “greeted,” I mean his first words were:
“Put it on the scale.”
Not “Hello.”
Not “How can I help you?”
Not even a casual nod.
The funny part is that this wasn’t out of character. Nearly every visit here feels like you’re inconveniencing the staff by showing up and asking them to perform the service the business exists to provide.
The employees have somehow perfected a customer service style that makes you feel talked down to, and mildly confused about what you did wrong.
I’ve been in friendlier TSA lines.
The package made it onto the scale, by the way with no, “thank you” for spending more than you should for a small box to be shipped two states away. I’d be embarrassed if my employees talked to my customers the way they frequently do at this location but I guess they’re a direct reflection of the management/ owner
