  The manager on-duty 07/22/2026 at Advance Auto Parts Guadalupe, Alex, was unprofessional & rude. Horrible experience at the store with Alex "the manager". He needs more training on how to speak to people & customer service. I purchased my Die Hard Gold battery at Advance Auto in 2023 & he did not bother to assist me in trying to find a solution to warranty my battery. The salesman that sold me the battery promised assistance if the battery failed within the warranty period, but that was clearly not shown by the manager today. He made me feel like I was trying to take advantage of AAP & being rude at the same time. He wants to talk down to the customer with the little authority he has but did not like when I gave him the same tone. AAP really disappointed me today. I had never had such a negative experience before there. Alex needs to go or at least receive some heavy training in Customer Service.

  Best experience in an Auto-parts store so far. I was in and out with my parts and items in about 15 minutes.

  I came into Advance Auto Parts and the service was phenomenal. The GM Jaime was very knowledgeable and helped point me in the right direction to fix my vehicle. Great customer service and very helpful staff. Earlier that day I had stopped at AutoZone, and honestly the service there was terrible. It actually felt like one of the worst decisions I made that day. The difference between the two stores was huge.
