  The person behind the counter was on the phone when I entered the store. Another person, Todd, came out and helped me. He was very friendly. He tested my battery, told me there was likely a dead cell, and suggested a replacement. I explained my situation and he provided the perfect battery at a good price. He also noticed a worn cable clamp that needed to be replaced, which he did. I have always felt comfortable dealing with the people at this location.

  I recently purchased a home in Kyle and genuinely intend to support local businesses whenever possible. I visited your store to purchase a battery, and although I had already called ahead and knew exactly what I needed, my experience was disappointing. The employee who assisted me—a tall gentleman—appeared visibly irritated when I arrived approximately ten minutes before closing, even striking the counter in frustration. During the interaction, he was short and dismissive, placed the battery on the counter in a manner that felt abrupt, and provided inconsistent guidance regarding installation. Initially, he indicated that a professional installer was required, but then reluctantly offered to proceed if I removed certain components myself. Given his demeanor and lack of professionalism, I did not feel comfortable or confident allowing him to perform the installation. As a result, I chose to take my business elsewhere and will not be returning. I believe customer service is a critical part of any business, and experiences like this highlight the importance of maintaining professionalism, regardless of the time of day.
