I’m extremely disappointed with the food-handling practices I witnessed at this Subway location.
While standing in line, I watched employees use the same gloves while handling ham, turkey, chicken, and then touching vegetables and other ingredients. They did not appear to change their gloves between handling these different foods.
This is concerning from a food-safety and cross-contamination perspective. It is also completely unacceptable for customers who have religious dietary requirements. As someone who follows dietary restrictions, I cannot accept a glove that has handled pork/ham being used to handle my food or ingredients that will go into my sandwich.
I chose not to order after seeing this. Subway should take food handling, cross-contamination, and customers’ religious dietary requirements seriously. I hope management addresses this with the employees and reinforces proper glove-changing and food-handling procedures.

I order my food online. I have a 30 minute lunch break and I had to come to this location. Three different times just to get my sandwich made correct?

I was overcharged for my sandwich, and when I pointed that out, no one seemed to understand that, and they all froze with a deer in the headlights look. The price are on the menu board for a six inch bmt, with six dollars and twenty nine cents. When she charged me six dollars and forty nine cents for the sandwich.I pointed it out to her, and they did not adjust the price. I will never come to this subway again and i'm hard pressed to come to any subway after this.
