Seems multiple reviews have mentioned the employees at this subway look very miserable. Turn out to be really true. Three of us walked in around 1pm, and there was really no other customer except us. There was only one employee there, and somehow he looked really unhappy. The only thing he asked us was, did you order online? We said no, then he said, "just wait," then diappeared. We waited for like 10 minutes, he showed up a few times in the middle but didn't offer anything or explain anything. That's where we decided to leave.
I had one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve had in a long time at the Subway on OST and Fannin.
I walked in and stood at the counter for several minutes without being acknowledged while the employees appeared more interested in online orders—or possibly just ignoring customers entirely. A simple “we’ll be with you shortly” would have gone a long way.
Once someone finally helped me, the experience got worse. I had to repeat nearly every part of my order multiple times because the employees seemed completely disengaged and dazed. The entire interaction felt disorganized and careless.
To make matters worse, this Subway had somehow run out of yellow mustard. At a sandwich shop. That’s like a coffee shop running out of coffee.
Then after I paid cash, the employee actually suggested I put my change in the tip jar. Tipping is for good service, not for being ignored, repeating yourself repeatedly, and receiving the bare minimum effort.
Whoever owns this location either needs to start enforcing basic franchise standards or consider selling the store to someone who actually cares about customer service and operations. If Subway has franchise standards, this location clearly isn’t following them.

Ordered lunch here. We got a 6” sub and a wrap. The wrap was a joke. Rolled up to about 4” long. All I tasted was flour tortilla. I’ll never tip ahead of my order again and I’ll never return to this Subway. The 6” sub was no better. When you open it up, hardly no ingredients. The chips and Soda were good. The service was slow and rude. I asked for my drink cup, because it wasn’t given to me with my order, and was asked “did you pay for a drink “. It was clearly on my ticket. This place is a perfect example of how NOT to run a food service business. We certainly won’t return here.

Very bad attitude from the young man. Friday, May 15th, 9:06 AM. Poor customer service.
My favorite subway on this side of town. The bread is always good and cookies always fresh.
