  THIS STORE SCAMS PEOPLE. My husband went in today to get a new SIM card. They sold him a SIM card for $30 and a screen protector for $10. They were unable to activate the SIM but my husband suspects they were making excuses hoping he would opt on purchasing a phone instead. He said the sales associates kept trying to get him to buy a new phone. After many attempts to "activate" the SIM card my husband decided to leave because he was on his lunch break. The associates said they were going to throw the SIM card away and he wouldn't be charged for a new one if he came back. Once outside the store my husband noticed that they charged him $39.99 for a screen protector and the SIM was actually $9.99 so he went back inside to confront them and decided he wanted to keep the SIM and go to another location to activate it. They did not want to give him the SIM card he purchased and told him he would have to buy another one. But when he mentioned how they charged him $30 for a screen protector they decided to give it back to him. After everything my husband just wanted to leave and didn't argue for his money back. He spent his whole lunchbreak at this store and now he has been overcharged with an unactivated SIM card. CRICKET what are y'all going to do to fix this?

  Here's a review you can post if it reflects your experience: ⭐☆☆☆☆ 1 Star I had a terrible experience at this Cricket store. I came in and signed up for a new $65 plan and was given a phone that was supposed to work properly. Not long after, I started having issues with the phone because movies and streaming apps would not work correctly. When I went back for help, instead of trying to resolve the problem, the employees immediately tried to blame me. They pointed to a small dent on the phone and acted like that was the reason for the issue, even though the problem had nothing to do with the physical condition of the device. It felt like they were looking for an excuse to avoid helping me. The whole situation felt dishonest and misleading. I spent my money expecting a working phone and decent customer service, but instead I was treated like the problem was my fault. If you're considering doing business here, make sure you understand exactly what you're getting and keep all your paperwork. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this store. Buyer beware.
