I will stay here again. Clean, modern. Everything was fresh. Very nice Best Western Plus
Our room wasn't anything special. The worse part: not even a cloth rack, cloth hanger, hook or surface where to put your clothes. All our clothes were all over chairs, bed, and floor. Even the cheapest hotels have a coat hook or similar. I did enjoy the complementary breakfast included in the price of the room.

I booked in advance, but when I arrived, it took quite a while for them to assign me my room. Once everything was finally settled—just as I opened the door and was about to lie down—two cockroaches appeared; one was crawling up the wall. I walked right back out the moment I saw them and requested a refund, but Ana (Front Desk Lady) refused to give me one and told me to get with the manager . There I was at 11:00 PM, scrambling to find another place to stay—since they didn't even offer me a refund or any other solution—forced to go room-hunting at such a late hour.

made a reservation through Booking.com to stay at a Best Western hotel near the Houston airport. Unfortunately, I did not realize that Houston has two major airports. When I arrived, the shuttle driver informed me that my reservation was not for the Best Western near George Bush Intercontinental Airport, but for the Best Western Plus near Hobby Airport.
There was no shuttle service available from Bush Intercontinental Airport to that hotel. While searching on Booking.com, I specifically selected hotels near the Houston airport, and this Best Western Plus appeared in the results. Because of this, I believed it was located near the airport where I was arriving.
I immediately contacted Booking.com to explain the situation and request a cancellation. They contacted the hotel and explained that I had arrived at a different airport and would not be able to reach the property. Despite this, the hotel refused to make any exception and charged me for the room anyway.
I notified them on the same day of the reservation that I would not be able to check in. I also contacted the hotel directly afterward, but they simply repeated that the cancellation policy requires notice at least 24 hours in advance.
What is frustrating is that there was no practical way for me to know about this mistake 24 hours earlier. I only discovered the issue after landing and realizing there was no shuttle service available from my airport.
In my opinion, the hotel showed no understanding or flexibility regarding an honest mistake caused by confusion between Houston’s two airports. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying at this Best Western Plus location.

Room was 2 queen beds. Comfortable size room. Pillows were very thick to a point the neck was short in the morning. But this was kind of minor. Room was clean. Bathroom was big. The climate control unit and the exhaust can was noiser than usual, but didn't keep us awake.
Good breakfast with waffle maker screamed eggs, diced ham, cereal, pastries and a few other items. Hard to find seating.
Carpet in hall was worn and old.
Shuttle service to the airport was excellent. Quick and easy.
Everyone from check in/out, house cleaning, kitchen staff, the shuttle driver were all very nice.
I recommend this hotel and would stay there if I came thru town again.
