  I recently stayed here and was very impressed with the place! The exterior is very charming and well maintained. The inside was very clean and tidy. The foyer has many elegantly displayed fossils and other furnishings that complement the local history and were fun to look at. The rooms were very nice and clean with plenty of room. The outside pool area was a great relief from the Texas heat. The breakfast was terrific. I especially recommend the biscuits and gravy with the sausage patties, although there were plenty of other options to choose from. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly, but I especially want to recognize Shanna, who was very polite and professional throughout the entire process and made sure my stay was accommodated. Having a few of these qualities at any one stay isn't uncommon, but having everything come together so well is truly refreshing. I would give this place ten stars if I could. I will definitely recommend the Best Western Dinosaur Valley Inn & Suites to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

  Had a great stay this weekend! Took our nieces for a trip to Glen Rose. They enjoyed playing in the kid pool and the regular pool. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast, of course we had to get an iconic Texas shaped waffle. Fantastic location in town, nothing is far away. Room was spacious and the AC was perfect for the heatwave coming through. All the staff we encountered was nice and friendly. 5/5 stars type of place!

  If you need a vacation but want to keep it good and simple, just book this hotel and stay here for the weekend. You could honeymoon at this lovely little hotel. This entire town is worth visiting and this hotel is worth staying at floor an entire week. It's just so lovely. I can't say anything bad about it. My husband and I met "in the middle" because he's working away from home and this town was in the middle. We visited the dinosaur park, hung out by the pool with our 1 year old, played with the pool toys they offer, watched TV and ate the best pizza from Simple Simon's. There was also a fair across the street. Two state parks within driving distance, great showers, comfy mattress, good breakfast food. I suppose you could improve on the coffee but it was still excellent.

  This is, without a doubt, the best Best Western we've ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The hotel was spotless, and everyone went out of their way to make sure our family had a great experience. One thing that really stood out was that they even let us email over some attraction passes we had purchased online and printed them for us. That saved us both time and money by not having to buy tickets at the attractions. The location couldn't have been better. It's right in the middle of everything! We spent three full days exploring the area and still didn't have time to do it all. We visited Dinosaur Valley State Park, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, and Dinosaur World, and we even had to skip the Creation Evidence Museum because we ran out of time. Everything was only about 10 minutes away. The staff also gave us fantastic recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. There are great places to eat nearby, from excellent Mexican food to delicious burger joints. We also loved Big Rocks Park, which is just a few minutes away. Right next to it is Funky Munky Shaved Ice, and it's a must-visit! Their specialty snow cones are amazing—I highly recommend "The Wedgie," which even comes with a slice of pie inside. It was such a fun and unique treat. For the price, I honestly don't think we could have found a better place to stay. The clean rooms, perfect location, and outstanding customer service made this trip even more memorable. If you're planning a trip to Glen Rose, I highly recommend staying here. We'll definitely be back!

  We’ve stayed here 4 years in a row now and this year was pretty disappointing. The location is great and we always look forward to the pool, but this year it was filthy. It had trash and leaves in it and every time we wanted to swim, we had to use the net to clean it out. There were never enough pool towels and there was always trash from the day before around the pool area. As for the rooms, we booked a suite for our family of 6 and the sofa was stained, pillow cases were ripped, the bottom of the main shower was stained, and the toilet in the bathroom was not secured to the floor so it moved. As for the staff, the lady with the darker hair and winged eyeliner was extremely rude when we asked for more towels. I stood there with my four kids and politely asked for 6 or 7 towels so we could shower that evening and she said “I can’t just give you 7 towels”. I said we’d leave our wet/dirty ones outside our door but I don’t really see an issue with asking for clean towels. She did eventually give us some towels, but it just seemed like a petty issue. The hotel hasn’t been updated in years and definitely needs some work, not worth the $780 we spent. We probably won’t stay at this location again.
