  I have been in many UPS stores in the country. The UPS in Galveston is the most efficient with excellent customer service. All their staff is knowlegeable, friendly and they have the most available hours during the week and are open Sat and Sunday. I have been there > than 10 times in the last 4 months. This store functions so far above all others. Compared to the UPS store in LaMarque by Walmart on 1764. There is always a long line, because generally they have only one person working. Parking is very difficult at that store esp if you have to carry heavy boxes to mail. The Galveston UPS on Steward RD is 10/5 compares to 1/5 UOS store in LaMarque.

  Wish I could leave 0 stars. I took a package in there that I was selling and having to ship. The buyer in Michigan needed the shipping cost before he bought. So I told the lady that I needed the shipping cost to this zip code so I can inform my customer of shipping cost. So she weighs it then measures it and puts in the zip code and proceeds to tell me the cheapest way to ship is $97, so I told her I have to inform my customer to see if they want it and I would be back in a couple minutes. So I stepped outside and texted my customer the cost of the bike frame plus shipping would be $220, leaving me just under $125 after shipping cost which was good since I was asking $125 for the frame. He Venmo’s me the money and I walk back inside (less than 10 minutes has passed) and go up to the counter and proceeded to ship the bike frame, only this time the lady tells me it’s going to cost $177, not the $97 I was told, she said when they put it in for a specific address instead of the zip code it changed the price. That’s simply Not True. I’ve already sold and collected for the bike frame so I’m out almost $100, almost the entire price of my item because of this place, remember I Brought The Item To You To Get A Price
