SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I needed a plan for my son's Apple watch. I went with Cricket Wireless because they had a wireless plan for $25 per month if I pay $300 for the year. I wanted to pair that with the watch plan for an additional $10 per month. I went onto the Cricket Wireless website, created an account, selected the plan, paid my money to get the phone connected and the original phone number transferred. I went back into the website to add the watch plan, but I didn't have that option. I logged into the chat to get the issue resolved, but I was told I couldn't add the watch plan to a multi month plan. The person in the chat sent me a link to pay the $10 to add the line for the watch, but it didn't work. They were unable to help me with switching to another plan or getting my money refunded. I decided to call customer service to try to get this resolved. Unfortunately, I didn't get anywhere with the rep I spoke to. I couldn't get a refund, I asked if the $300 I already paid could be applied to a new plan. I was denied again. He said I would have to keep the plan I already paid for, pay for a new device, and a new plan just so I can add the watch. I would be out of $300 for a phone plan I can’t use. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He connected me with Omar. I told him how I felt like it was unfair that I’m stuck with a plan I can’t use. I explained the only reason I needed the plan was because I needed a watch with a cellular plan. Considering that I’ve only had the plan about 4 hours at the time, I thought he could do something, but he refused to help me. There was no indicator that the plan could not be changed once activation was completed. He said the terms and conditions stated no changes or refunds. I asked for a copy and he said he would send it, but I haven’t received it. I also asked to be connected to legal, but he refused stating that he didn’t have the information. Then he hung up in my face.
