Absolutely terrible service…. I’ve seen them go through so many staff changes in the past 4 years I’ve lived in horizon and they can never get their staffing right. I sat in the drive through lane for about 3 mins repeating “hello” into the speaker with no answer, I figured they were busy so I waited. 4 minutes passed, said “hello” again, no answer. Decided to drive up to the window to see if they were even open (its 4:45 pm on a Monday and yes - it’s happened before where they close at random times in the day). I can see through the window that there’s one employee leaning on the wall talking to another employee washing his hands. I wait again hoping one to notice me. I make eye contact with one, he walks away. Comes shortly after, opens the drive through window and doesn’t greet me, doesn’t apologize for keeping me waiting, doesn’t say anything! Just opens the window and looks down at his sticky note preparing to take my order. I say “I don’t think your speaker works, I waited there for a while with no answer” he looks up, ignores what I just said and in the lowest possible voice says “what can I get you”. At this point I’m just really upset and this whole interaction and quite frankly I also just hand my card over and stop making any type of contact with the guy. He comes back to give me my footling and just hands it, no “thank you” “come again” “enjoy”, nothing. Extremely disappointed with the service provided today.
This is not the first time we have left a review, my husband did one 4 years ago when we first moved to horizon talking about a rude interaction we had with a woman refusing to give extra veggies. Good no know nothing has changed and that subway could care less what type of employees they have.
