  I cannot say enough good things about Gilbert and the level of customer service he provided me at the Omar Salazar Allstate Agency. Even though I ultimately decided to move my insurance away from Allstate because I was able to find better pricing elsewhere, I felt it was extremely important to take the time to leave this review because Gilbert absolutely deserves to be recognized for the way he treats his customers. From beginning to end, Gilbert was professional, patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help. Every time I had a question or needed clarification about my policies, billing, cancellations, premiums, or refunds, he took the time to look into it and explain everything clearly. I never felt like I was bothering him or being rushed through a conversation. He always made sure I understood what was happening before we finished speaking. What impressed me the most was that even when he knew I was leaving Allstate, his level of customer service never changed. That says a lot about someone's character and professionalism. Sometimes when a company knows they are losing a customer, the service suddenly changes or communication becomes difficult. That was absolutely NOT my experience with Gilbert. He continued helping me through the entire process, made sure everything was properly handled, explained the final premium on my motorcycle policy, helped clarify the refund on my renters policy, and confirmed that I wouldn't continue seeing additional Allstate charges. That kind of service deserves recognition. Unfortunately, insurance pricing isn't something an individual representative can always control, and my decision to leave was based on the rates—not because of Gilbert or the service I received from him. If pricing had been more competitive for my situation, I would have been very happy to continue working with Gilbert. In fact, if Allstate becomes competitive for me again in the future, he would be the first person I would contact. It's easy to leave a positive review when everything goes perfectly and you're continuing to do business with a company. I think it says even more when a customer who is actually leaving still feels strongly enough about the service they received to write a review like this. Gilbert earned it. Customer service can make such a huge difference, especially with insurance, where policies, premiums, cancellations, refunds, and coverage can sometimes become confusing or stressful. Having someone who actually communicates with you and follows through is incredibly valuable. Gilbert did exactly that. Gilbert, thank you for all of your hard work, patience, communication, and excellent customer service. I truly appreciate everything you did for me. You represented the Omar Salazar Allstate Agency extremely well, and I hope Allstate and the agency recognize the value of having someone like you taking care of their customers. I would absolutely recommend Gilbert to anyone looking for an insurance representative who is responsive, respectful, helpful, and actually cares about providing great service. 5 stars for Gilbert without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hopefully Allstate gets their pricing together someday so I can come back and work with you again! 😂 Thank you for everything, Gilbert!

  Been a customer of Allstate for 20 years and I really like everyone at the Omar Salazar Office. Very friendly and helpful. Astrid always goes above and beyond with customer service, I truly recommend them.

  I had no problems at all with Allstate and this agent he kept in touch with me at all times and informed me about everything. That’s what I really liked.

  I have received frequent call from this office and every time I answer I get hanged up on. I have no idea why they keep calling and hanging up. Previously I had a car insurance policy with this office but canceled after a year because of rate increase. I get calls here and there from them to see if I want to return but I am satisfied with current provider. And have asked them not to call me plenty of times and I was very polite but straight forward with the caller. With that being said I am receiving constant calls from this office and being hung up on as soon as I answer. I don’t appreciate that at all. I’m not sure what the issue is but please let your staff know that I will escalate this issue if it continues.
