I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience as a homeowner’s insurance customer with Allstate. After being hit with an outrageous and unjustified premium increase, I made the decision to cancel my policy. The lack of transparency and consideration for long-standing customers was disappointing, and the pricing escalation felt unreasonable and completely disconnected from customer loyalty or service value.
What made matters worse was the overall handling of the situation. There was no meaningful effort to address concerns or provide clarity that would justify the increase. Instead, the experience left me feeling like just another account number rather than a valued customer. When insurance companies expect trust and long-term commitment, they should be prepared to demonstrate accountability and professionalism in return, and that was not my experience here.
Overall, I am frustrated, disappointed, and frankly disgusted with how this situation unfolded. I expected far better from a company with Allstate’s reputation. I cannot recommend them based on this experience.
