I called in an order for 20 wings and a large fries for pickup: 10 BBQ wings and 10 Cajun/Louisiana dry-rub wings.
When I arrived, I waited a few extra minutes before being told my order was ready. After getting home, my kids noticed that we had not received any dry-rub wings. Instead, all of the wings were covered in sauce (BBQ and Cajun/Louisiana).
I called the restaurant to explain the issue. During the conversation, both the employee and manager acknowledged that I had requested dry-rub wings, but there was confusion over the Cajun vs. Louisiana flavor name, which resulted in the wrong wings being prepared. Despite recognizing the misunderstanding, the manager said they would only replace the entire order of 10 wings if all 10 incorrect wings were returned. Since a few wings had already been eaten before we realized the mistake, they refused to make things right.
My frustration is not just with the mistake itself—errors happen. The bigger issue is that I clearly requested dry-rub wings, and the staff should have clarified the flavor selection when taking the order rather than assuming I wanted a sauced version. A simple clarification at the time of ordering could have prevented the entire situation. Unfortunately, the lack of flexibility in resolving the issue left me disappointed with the customer service experience.

This is my favorite Wingstop. The food is always hot and fresh however, today (4/01/26) at about 1 PM I had a bad experience with the Hispanic cashier. I asked him for a cup of ice being that I had a drink already in my car. He bold face lied to me and said that you guys didn’t have ice so then that’s when I proceeded to ask so you’re saying you don’t have ice? His reply is yes we have ice, but I will have to ring you up for a Drink, I was confused, however I proceeded to leave. When I got into the car, I told my husband about the encounter and he said that the cashier was lying being that we were just here two nights ago and someone gave him a cup of ice, please retrain him on how to deal with customers, especially loyal customers. There was no reason to lie about something like that, I’m guessing he just didn’t feel like ringing it up. Very unnecessary!

I can NOT appreciate the fact that my wings where placed in the to-go box WITHOUT A LINER!!! THE BOX WAS BURNT WITH HOLES IN IT!! also, the Hispanic guy that took my order over the phone kept cutting me off while I was ordering,,, just freaking dissatisfied 😡
