Severe ADA Violation & Leadership Failure During 7 PM Peak — Store #27. I am writing this to alert the North Dallas regional operations team and district supervisor regarding a massive operational failure and a severe violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at the 4411 Lemmon Ave location (Store #27) tonight (Tuesday) around 7:00 PM.
The front-of-house cashier, a short Hispanic girl with glasses and false eyelashes whose name was given to me as Latasha, was incredibly sarcastic, repeatedly cut me off, and dismissed my questions. Even hesitated and gave me pushback when I asked for the drinks that came with my combo, sarcastically asking, 'Oh, you want drinks too?' before slowly handing over the cups. I explicitly informed the staff that I am deaf, yet absolutely no effort was made to accommodate me or communicate effectively. Instead, Latasha rudely walked off mid-sentence to assist other customers, leaving me completely stranded.
Furthermore, while a kitchen staff member tried to assist and had to call a manager named Anthony for approval to process my order, I saw Latasha standing in the kitchen actively snickering, laughing, and mocking me. Anthony was completely absent from the floor during the busiest hour of the night, allowing this toxic, discriminatory environment to happen. I expect the franchise group, district manager and HR to immediately pull the security footage and shift logs from Tuesday at 7:00 PM. This requires immediate disciplinary action and I would also like a corporate representative to contact me regarding this civil rights violation.
UPDATE Today (Wednesday morning): Following my formal corporate reports, the regional office immediately intervened and General Manager Anthony called me directly. I have detailed the severe ADA violations to him over the phone. I will leave this 1-star review live until full disciplinary action is taken against the employee and proper ADA compliance retraining is completed for this entire staff.
